The Old Doha Port management announced on Wednesday the inauguration of a new maritime facility, which will enable visitors and owners of maritime vessels to access the sea from the Doha area and Corniche Street easily and smoothly, round the clock.
Located within the borders of the port, behind Halul Cafe, the new maritime facility - named the Fishermen Slipway - constitutes an addition to the recently inaugurated port facilities. It is considered one of the largest maritime facilities in the State and has two levels to suit maritime vessels of different sizes.
The Old Doha Port management announced that the management and operation of the maritime facility would be carried out by a specialised company that was commissioned by the Old Doha Port, and would be supervised by the operations and projects department at the port.
