He stated that the event was the first of a series of events that ACS plans to host in the coming months to address the evolving needs of students and parents. The event was a great opportunity for parents to learn how to prepare their children for an uncertain world, develop a deeper understanding of how education can support success, and what skills will be needed for future careers. Attendees left the event feeling empowered and equipped with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their children's education and future."Faced with an increasingly unpredictable future, we should assume that the world of work will continue to be disrupted and reshaped," commented Dr Harrison. "We can be sure that the most important competencies and attitudes for young people are likely to centre on being able to learn and adapt in the face of rapid, volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous change. Learning today must focus not only on what students need to know, but also on how they use that knowledge and translate it into into effective action."As per the request of attendees, we will be organising an EDTECH Summit at ACS Doha on May 13, 2023. This event will bring together industry leaders, educators, and students to discuss the role of technology in education and how we can use it to enhance the learning experience," said Harrison."At ACS, we believe that education is an ongoing process, and we are committed to providing our students and parents with the latest insights and tools to prepare them for the future. We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future and continuing our mission to provide quality education to our students," he added.
