Chaliyar Doha, a Keralite expatriate collective, hosted an Iftar party attended by representatives of various Indian community organisations. President Zameel Abdul Wahid Chaliyam presided at the function which saw the honouring of winners of a drawing competition held on the occasion of World Water Day and a quiz.
Indian Cultural Centre president A P Manikantan, Indian Community Benevolent Forum president Shanavas Bava, Shoukathali T A J and V C Mashhood distributed the prizes. Chaliyar Doha general secretary C T Siddique Cheruvadi, secretary Abi Chunkathara and treasurer Jabir Beypore were present.
