The Medical Team at Mowasalat (Karwa) once again underlined the company’s commitment to staff well-being with a company-wide health screening campaign. The campaign focused on providing the main medical screening, including blood sugar and blood pressure tests, and medical consultation to all interested administrative and driving staff at the main Medical Centre and all depot residences. The screening took place on April 5 and 6 in line with World Health Day, observed on April 7.
Dr Emad Bahloul, Medical Services operations manager and company doctor at Mowasalat (Karwa), said: “Prevention is better than cure. Regular screenings can help detect potential health issues early and prevent complications. It is essential to monitor blood pressure and blood sugar levels regularly to maintain good health. We understand the importance of employee health and the impact it has on the work performance. We take pride in providing our employees with a healthy and safe working environment and investing in their comprehensive well-being. Therefore, we encouraged all employees to take advantage of this screening campaign and prioritise their health.”
Mowasalat (Karwa) creates a work environment that promotes health and wellness for its employees. In addition to offering health screenings and 24/7 medical services, the company runs sports facilities and activities throughout the year in all residential compounds. "The ultimate mission is to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle for mental and physical wellbeing," a press statement notes.
