The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation's decision to cut electricity supplies to the Gaza Strip, describing it as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Israeli occupation's policies, centered on besieging the Palestinian people in Gaza and obstructing the delivery of humanitarian aid, ultimately seek to impose starvation and escalate tensions in the Strip. The ministry underscored the urgent need for the international community to take decisive action to ensure the protection of the Palestinian people. The ministry also reaffirmed Qatar's steadfast position in support of the just Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to establish an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
