Weather inshore today until 6pm on Friday will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times and blowing dust to dusty with chance of scattered rain ,thundery at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of thundery rain and strong wind with poor horizontal visibility.
Offshore, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain / thundery at times and slight dust to dusty later, the report added, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind and high sea and poor horizontal visibility later.
Wind inshore will be Mainly Northerly - Northwesterly 12 - 22 KT gusting to 35 KT with thundery rain.
Offshore, it will be Northwesterly 10 - 20 KT Gusting to 35 KT with thundery rain.
Visibility will be 4 to 08/2 kilometres or less at places at times.
Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 FT rises to 5 FT with thundery rain. Offshore will be 4 to 8 FT rises to 12 FT with thundery rain.
