Al Bidda Park is all set to host the Mega Park Carnival from Sunday until April 30, offering a fortnight of fun activities and coinciding the Eid celebrations.
The carnival is being held in Qatar for the first time, taking place on an area of around 22,000sqm.
The opening hours are from 7pm until midnight during Ramadan evenings and from 4pm to 1am on Eid days, according to information available on the carnival's website.
The Mega Park Carnival will offer "many fun events for the whole family, with more than 100,000 visitors expected during the 15 days", the website says.
In addition, there will be giant balloons scattered throughout the garden, as well as a games area, restaurants and a dedicated area for the Mega Park Theatre, where different entertainment, singing and exhibition shows will be held to enhance the fun for everyone.
The event has the support of various companies and sponsors to ensure a diversity of services.
The carnival is being organised by Toronto Event and has been featured on Qatar Calendar as one of the various Eid activities taking place in the country. The Qatar Calendar is published by Qatar Tourism.
