Katara - the Cultural Village has announced its Eid al-Fitr festivities that appeals to all age categories and different tastes and preferences.
The programme during the Eid holidays will start daily from 4pm until 10pm at the various venues of Katara. The first item is a show by a music troupe at 4 pm at Al Hekma Hall. The Police Training Institute will give music performances at Katara Corniche at 6.15pm and 7pm all through Eid holidays.
Children will be given Katara's Eid gifts at Katara Corniche during the first three days of the Eid holidays. The first distribution of Eid gifts will start at 6.40 pm and the second distribution at 7.50 pm.
Katara's visitors from all categories, especially families with their kids, will have the opportunity to watch a performance of the play "The World 2030" in Al Hekma Hall. The play features an imaginary time travel for a group of children who go to the past to learn the importance of knowledge and work in self-development and the development of the society.
Katara will hold the best dress competitions for boys and girls below 15 during the first three days of Eid. The participants should send to mobile number 33160949 a high quality photo of them wearing Eid clothes. Ten winners will be selected.
The Eid quiz "Questions and Answers" will be held at Al Hekma Hall from 4pm for the first three days of Eid. The public will have the opportunity to enjoy the fireworks on the first and second day of Eid at 8.15 pm at Katara Beach.
