DPS-Modern Indian School organised an award ceremony for classes VIII, IX and XI for the academic session (2022-23).
Around 250 students were presented trophies, badges, merit certificates, blue blazers, blue ties, silver medals, gold medals and special awards.
Vice president Yasir Nainar, the chief guest, commended the diligent efforts of the students and urged the parents to be their role models, encourage them to explore their talents and chase their dreams with utmost allegiance.
Principal Asna Nafees lauded the students and the teachers for their sustained resilience in beating the pandemic blues and described how education has evolved with new introductions by the Central Board of Secondary Education focusing on ‘higher order thinking’ and steering away from a ‘textbook’ approach.
She encouraged the students to adapt and be innovative and creative as they learn and lead the community into the future.
