MES Indian School celebrated World Heritage Day on April 18 with a special assembly in all sections. Students were briefed about the meaning of heritage, its importance and the need of its preservation. A video presentation was shown about seven famous heritage sites of the world. Students brought models of various historic monuments and came dressed in different costumes representing their national identity. The students of classes III and IV emphasised on the significance of global heritage sites through placards. The teachers’ in charge of the event were Jahfar Niyas P, Anver K, Jency George, Sumitha Nassar, Nazanin Nadaf, Nisha Menon and Gayathri Srinivasan.
