The Cultural Village Foundation Katara concluded its Eid festivities programme on Monday with large numbers of visitors flocking to the place for the fourth consecutive day to enjoy the various Eid activities.
The public enjoyed in particular the performances of the 85 member Police Training Institute band which reflected the original Qatari heritage with the pieces played.
The audience also highly enjoyed the social comedy theatrical play that depicts some comic situations during the camping season at the Sealine Area. The play addressed in a satirical way the negative conducts of some campers at the Sealine area, especially the young people.
Further, the public highly appreciated the Arab Oud event held at Katara Oud Instrument Center at building 6 , where Oud lovers enjoyed some of the distinguished oud players who played a number of varied master pieces that highly appealed to the audience.
Katara featured various competitions and quizzes during the Eid holidays where all family members were able to take part and enjoy a quality time. The festivities included fireworks that were featured during the evenings and other beach activities across Katara beach.
