HE the Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid AlKhater met Tuesday with the visiting Assistant Foreign Minister and Director-General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nagaoka Kansuke.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations, especially in international development and humanitarian assistance, as well as the latest developments in Afghanistan, Sudan and Tunisia at the humanitarian level. The two sides underscored importance of providing assistance to Afghanistan in health and education fields, in addition to providing education opportunities to all segments of Afghan people. They also stressed importance of finding an urgent peaceful solution to the raging conflict in Sudan to stop the spilling of the blood of Sudanese people.
