Rajagiri Public School (RPS) invested its newly appointed Student Council for the academic year 2023-2024, with prefectural responsibilities at a special ceremony.
The council members received their badges and sashes from the chief guest, Indian embassy first secretary S Xavier Dhanaraj, RPS management members Jinsu Aju and Koshy George, academic director Dr Prasant Palakkappillil, administrator Annie John, section heads and co-ordinators.
The oath-taking ceremony was led by the principal in-charge S Radhakrishnan. Dr Palakkappillil, in his speech, reminded the newly elected leaders to extend solidarity to the rest of the world through their actions. Dhanaraj, stressed on the importance of education and how it can transform an individual.
The key student officials are Kevin Davis (head boy), Anna Jerry (head girl), Sai Santosh (deputy head boy), Rania Ruksana (deputy head girl), Shreya Renjit (cultural secretary), Areeba Anjum (sports captain), Disha Sanjay, Michelle Teresa, Anitt Jaison and Minha Ashehad (house captains).
