President of Qatar Taekwondo, Judo & Karate Federation and Vice-Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the World Judo Championship (Doha 2023) Khalid bin Hamad Al Attiyah stressed that Qatar presented an ideal and successful version of the world championship at all levels, technically, organizationally and fans attendance, indicating that the competitions were strong in light of participation of the most prominent Olympic and international champions.
In a statement on the sidelines of the closing day, Al Attiyah said that the tournament was successful by all standards, as Qatar introduced to the world new standards at the organizational level of the World Judo Championship.
He pointed out that President of the International Judo Federation (IJF) Marius Vizer and the participating delegations hailed the organizational level of the tournament.
The President of Qatar Taekwondo, Judo & Karate Federation thanked HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani for his great support for hosting the World Judo Championship.
Al Attiyah said the IJF officials and the guests of Qatar, including athletes, fans, and technical and administrative teams underscored that the current version of the World Judo Championship is the best edition ever. He expressed his pride in the global reaction to the organization, which would give the federation an incentive to continue working in the coming events with the same determination and persistence to consolidate the distinguished organizational reputation of the State of Qatar.
