The second batch of grade X of DPS Monarch International School marked a stellar performance in CBSE Board examination 2022-23.
Antony Binu Alapatt was the topper with 98.8%, followed by Aditya Vivek and Hasan Mohamed Sardhar (97.8%) as the second toppers.
The other toppers are Adhishree Lalit (97.6%), Saarah Shakil (97.4%), Kavya Valluri (96.6%), Keshav Sumesh and Subbulakshman Sivakolundu Prabusankar (96.4%), Nicole Serrao (96.2%), Ganesh Senthilkumar and Rithu Raja (95.8%), Aditya Sajit (95.6%) and Punnoose Kuncheria Purakel (95.4%).
A total of 81 students appeared for the exam with the school average of 86% and with a Centum by nine students in various subjects.
While 45% students scored 90% and above, 90% passed with Distinction and sustained the school result of 100%.
The students who scored 100 marks: Aditya Vivek (mathematics, social science, information technology), Adhishree Lalit (mathematics), Hasan Mohamed Sardhar (social science), Aditya Sajit (French- second language), Antony Binu Alapatt, Kavya Valluri and Keshav Sumesh (information technology).
The following are the number of students who scored more than 90 marks in various subjects: 33 students in English, 27 students in mathematics, 26 students in science, 29 students in social science, 45 students in information technology and 22 students in second languages.
Subject average is as follows: English 88%, information technology 91.2%, science 78%, social science 85.6%, second language 82.8% and mathematics 78%.
The school management, principal, heads, co-ordinators and teachers have congratulated the students.
