His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban held an official talks session on Monday at the Amiri Diwan.
During the session, they discussed aspects of developing joint cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of economy and investment, in addition to exchanging views on the most substantial regional and international developments of common interest.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Abdullah al-Thani, and a number of senior officials attended the talks.
On the Hungarian side, it was attended by Minister of Economic Development Marton Nagy, Minister of Finance Mihaly Varga, Minister of State and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Levente Magyar, and a number of members of the official delegation.
His Highness the Amir held a luncheon banquet in honour of prime minister of Hungary and the accompanying delegation.
Earlier upon his arrival at the Amiri Diwan, the Hungarian prime minister was accorded an official reception.
In a tweet, His Highness the Amir said that the talks with Prime Minister Orban would contribute to promoting the relations between the two friendly countries in different fields.
The Amir welcomed Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Doha, expressing happiness with their talk that would contribute to promoting the relations between the friendly countries through more partnerships and cooperation in various fields. (QNA)
