Grade 10 MYP Design students at Swiss International School (SISQ) were once again given the opportunity to design and make products to donate to Qatar Animal Welfare Society (QAWS), a statement said.
Their aim was to further develop positive charitable relationships within the community whilst applying knowledge and understanding of the design cycle process.
The students were fulfilled through the collaborative and caring project. The students relished this challenge and created outcomes that included various animal furniture and equipment made from locally discarded materials. They collaborated to manufacture a range of donations that included dog ramp, cat climbers, feeders, beds, shelters and general play equipment. Over 200 animals will benefit from this project, the statement added.
