Qatar Golf Lovers (QGL), organised its 213th monthly tournament at Doha Golf Club, with 32 players.
Bhupendra Jain and his partner Rahul Kumar won the Two-Person Team Texas Scramble with a Net Score of 31.6. The Team of Navin Bajaj and new member Ashok Srivastava, also finished with a net score of 31.6, but ended up as runners-up on countback.
Ambassadors Arman Issagaliyev of Kazakhstan and Tran Duc Hung of Vietnam participated in the tournament and gave away prizes. QGL president Manoj Megchiani, vice-president Sanjay Jain and captain Clark White gave away special prizes to P K Viswanath for 'Nearest to Pin' and Rukkaiya Pachisa for ‘Longest Drive’. The prize for the Most Exercised Team awarded to encourage and recognise the efforts of newcomers went to Nabil Zaheer Ali and Arsalan Adam. Pavan Singh of Petro-Q awarded special Golf T-shirts to the winners.
