The Doha Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) recently organised a seminar on “GCC Business Continuity through Resilience and Adaptation.”
Noor Hussan explained the relevance of business continuity in the GCC (Gulf Co-operation Council), with the best practices to be followed for business continuity and the GCC standards.
Highlighting business continuity management system (BCMS), he demonstrated how to respond, recover, restore and resilient during this time.
Kurian Kuriakose, enlightened the audience with his personal experience on “Mind over Matters – A Journey to Recovery”.
The Doha Chapter of ICAI was established in 1981 and is the oldest among its 38 overseas chapters. It currently has 300 members, who hold key positions in private and public sector establishments in Qatar and are actively involved in the support and development of accounting profession in Qatar.
Kamlesh Tibrewal welcomed the members to the event, which saw the participation of more than 100 attendees, comprising chapter members who are eminent finance professionals from the leading organisations as well as students.
