HE Ahmad al-Sayed, Minister of State and Chairman of Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ), participated Monday in the Saudi Special Economic Zones Investment Forum held in Riyadh. HE al-Sayed, who attended the opening session, was invited to the forum by Khalid bin Abdulaziz al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment and Chairman of the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA).
On the sidelines of the forum, HE al-Sayed met with al-Falih; Faisal F al-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning; and Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, of Saudi Arabia. During the meetings, discussions focused on ways of co-operation, as well as how the two countries can co-ordinate and integrate in the fields of investment attraction, trade and business, QFZ said in a statement. The forum and meetings were attended by Bandar bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, Qatar's ambassador to Saudi Arabia, as well as senior officials from QFZ.
