Qatar Museums (QM) has announced new ticket pricing for entry to all of its world-class museums, galleries, exhibitions, and heritage sites.
Entry to all venues and heritage sites, including temporary exhibitions, will remain free on the presentation of a valid QID to all residents and citizens of Qatar, a statement said.
Effective from today, the National Museum of Qatar, Museum of Islamic Art, and 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum will have a ticket price of QR50 for non-residents of Qatar, providing visitors access to permanent collections as well as any exhibitions on show.
In addition, Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, located in Education City, and admission to heritage sites, including Al Zubarah Fort will now be free of charge for both residents and non-residents of Qatar.
To ensure accessibility for everyone, the new concession pricing will provide a 50% discount for non-resident students and large groups (25+), while children under 16 years, QM employees, ICOM members, visitors to gift shops, café/restaurants, and participants of school and university tours will be able to access QM’s arts and cultural offering free of charge.
