His Highness the Amir left Samarkand Tuesday after a state visit to Uzbekistan, heading to Bishkek on a state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.
His Highness and the accompanying delegation were seen off at Samarkand International Airport by Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, Uzbek Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov, and Qatar's Ambassador to Uzbekistan Hassan bin Hamza Hashim.
His Highness the Amir sent a cable to President Mirziyoyev, expressing thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome accorded to him and the accompanying delegation in Samarkand during his visit, which provided an opportunity to exchange views on issues of common concern and ways to support and strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries in various fields for the benefit of the two nations.
