Al Duhail finished runner-up in the 25th Asian Club Handball Championship after losing a thrilling final to Bahrain’s Al Najma 30-31 in Isfahan, Iran, on Saturday. This is the second time Najma have won the Asian crown, having also beat three-time champions Duhail to claim their maiden title in Hyderabad, India, in 2017. With Saturday’s triumph, Najma have also sealed their place in the IHF Super Globe to be held from October 17-23 in Saudi Arabia.
