Qatar Foundation for Social Work (QFSW) and Elite Paper Recycling signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), aiming to enhance waste collection and recycling efforts, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
QFSW acting executive director Rashid bin Mohammed al-Nuaimi and Elite Paper Recycling chairman Abdullah Ibrahim al-Suwaidi were the signatories.
The MoU includes conducting joint projects and investment activities to increase recycling rates and support Qatar's national development programme.
The partnership will also contribute to raising awareness among individuals and institutions on the importance of waste collection, recycling, and environmental conservation.
As per the MoU, both parties will co-operate to recycle consumed materials from QFSW and its affiliated centres.
Elite Paper Recycling will provide containers to deposit materials for recycling and train QFSW employees about the process.
