The Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA), in cooperation with Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA), concluded on Thursday a training program on "conflict of interest," to train and enhance the competency of the state employees on the use of advanced methods to detect corruption.The axes of the three-day training program focused on ways of disclosing conflict of interest, understanding conflicts or potential conflict of interest, in addition to the importance of not covering up in the event of a conflict or potential conflict of interest, and noting the importance of adhering to integrity and safeguarding public money.The program comes within the framework of the development plan pursued by the ACTA to raise the efficiency of employees and provide them with the knowledge that advances their scientific and practical capabilities in the areas of integrity and corruption prevention, which contributes to building a crucial pillar in Qatar National Vision 2030, represented in human development.ACTA has developed educational and training programs to educate state employees, train them to use advanced methods to detect corruption, and prepare them to cooperate with the authority in this field.
