Qatar Manpower Solutions Company, Jusour, offers a range of quality services that serve job seekers and different employers, employing advanced digital technologies with various updated initiatives set to enhance the local labour market.
Introducing the services of the company at the visual identity launch ceremony on Monday evening, CEO engineer Abdulhadi Bakhit Barqan, said: "The name 'Jusour' was chosen to express the essence of what we aspire to achieve, which is building strong bridges between employers and job seekers."
He was addressing a ceremony on Monday where HE the Minister of Labour Dr Ali bin Samikh al-Marri, who is also Board Chairperson of Jusour, inaugurated the company's new visual identity.
Jusour, as a strategic partner of the Ministry of Labour, bases its vision on enhancing the inclusivity and resilience of the local market. The CEO highlighted the company's new programmes, including the "Sahim" which has launched two initiatives: extending the residency permit of graduates in co-operation with the entities concerned and providing part-time employment opportunities in the private sector for university students.
The "Mustaqil" programme, aims to provide the Qatari job market with new skilled workforce by introducing non-traditional visa categories targeting entrepreneurs.
The "Labour Mobility" programme works on enabling and facilitating workforce move (primarily blue-collar workers) from their current employers to new employers to benefit from the process of supply and demand in the labour force within the country.
He also introduced the "Exceptional Employment" programme, which aims to support employment services through identifying sources for searching for job candidates and matching their qualifications with job requirements at the key sectors of the country, which could benefit from regional cooperation agreements with different countries.
"Jusour," previously known as "Wiza," is a privately owned joint-stock company fully owned by the government of Qatar. Its board of directors include several entities, including the Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Qatar University, Qatar Airways, Al Jazeera Media Network, and the Qatar Chamber.
