Qatar Charity, through its office in Mauritania, has provided essential food assistance to families devastated by floods in the Brakna and Trarza regions in Mauritania. This crucial aid aims to address the urgent needs of those struggling in the aftermath of this natural disaster.The distribution of food aid benefited 1,000 affected families, who received food baskets containing a month's supply of essential items.Speaking at the distribution event, Director of Qatar Charity's office in Mauritania Engineer Omer Abdelaziz thanked the Mauritanian government, local authorities, and the Food Security Commission for their cooperation and support. He added that the food aid distribution is to assist the affected families.Beneficiaries appreciated the food baskets and expressed their gratitude to the people of Qatar for their support.
