Ooredoo has bolstered its Qatarisation strategy with the arrival of the latest intake of young Qatari talents, a statement said on Sunday.
The welcome celebration at Ooredoo Tower was attended by CEO Sheikh Ali bin Jabor bin Mohammed al-Thani, chief human resources officer Mariam Hassan al-Hajri, as well as several members of its management and HR teams.
Representatives from the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) and Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) also joined the celebration.
Mariam al-Hajri, UDST's sponsorship specialist Fahad al-Hadfa and CMU-Q's senior career consultant Mohammed Mirza spoke.
Ooredoo CEO said: “Our corporate strategy includes a firm commitment to attracting, developing and retaining the brightest of talents, and – in particular – the next generation of the brightest Qatari talents. We are firmly committed to supporting Qatar in its drive to achieve the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.”
Ooredoo aims to be the employer of choice for young talent in the country and has in place a robust Qatarisation initiative, the statement added.
