QNB was the principal partner of We Run Doha, the first running experience organised by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in Doha.
QNB’s role confirms its commitment towards supporting local and international sports events and promoting positive health and mental wellbeing effects of sports in general, a statement said.
Sport, with its various types, tops the agenda of QNB Group’s CSR initiatives, in line with Qatar’s vision to become a global sports hub.
The 5km race, open to participants 18 years old and above, took place at the runners track at 21 High Street, Katara, giving runners the chance to enjoy the air-conditioned path all the way to Katara Hills.
Two winners got an exclusive opportunity to travel to Paris and attend a PSG Game in a VIP lounge at the Parc des Princes. Silver and bronze medalists received cash vouchers redeemable at the PSG merchandise store at Villaggio Mall
We Run Doha is an extension of We Run Paris, held yesterday. Following the first edition in Doha, more versions of the race will take place in big cities around the world, including Los Angeles, New York, Miami, London, Singapore, and Tokyo.
