President of the Arab Judo Federation Brigadier General Khalid bin Hamad Al Attiyah, who is also Qatar Taekwondo, Judo and Karate Federation, praised the good Algerian organization of the Pan Arab Games (Algeria 2023), which is currently being held and is witnessing a good participation of the Qatari delegation.
Al Attiyah said, in an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), that Qatar is keen to participate in all Arab forums, in accordance with the vision of the state and the keenness of the wise leadership to develop sports in the country.
Al Attiyah expressed his appreciation of the good organization and reception that Algeria provided to its visitors.
Regarding the Qatari athletes participating in this tournament, Al Attiyah said that they are coming to compete in order to win the largest number of medals, adding that participation in these competitions gives the players the opportunity to prepare well for the upcoming participations, especially since the goal is to reach the 2024 Paris Olympics.
On the state of Arab Judo, he said that all Arab countries provide special care to the sport, highlighting that Arab players rank highly in international standings, setting them up for winning medals in the Paris Olympics.
