Al Khor Cultural Centre of the Ministry of Culture has launched its summer programme for females.
Running until August 3, the programme includes a host of various activities and events, including beneficial cultural and artistic workshops during summer vocation.
Director of Al Khor Cultural Center Mariam Ali al-Mohannadi said the workshop targets 9-18-year-old females and over, adding that the centre's activities witnessed a high turnout from affiliates with 70 females participating in the summer programme.
She pointed out that the centre holds a plethora of various workshops ranging from painting to ceramics arts and threads, outlining that the program aims to invest in leisure times of young people to fulfil their needs and benefit from these times under the supervision of qualified trainers.
Al-Mohannadi said that the centre will organise workshops for 5-year-old children and over upon completion of this summer programme.
