Qatar Charity announced its support for the International Organisation for Migration's (IOM) project to rebuild a health facility in Cox's Bazar district in Bangladesh to improve access to healthcare services for host communities and Rohingya refugees.
In a statement Saturday, Qatar Charity stated that the health center consists of two floors and has rooms for outpatient clinics, a laboratory, a pharmacy and a medical warehouse, as well as a clinic for psychological support and nutrition.
The health center was inaugurated by Assistant CEO of the Operations and International Programs Sector at Qatar Charity Nawaf Abdullah Al Hammadi, in the presence of the Deputy Head of IOM Mission in Bangladesh Nihan Erdogan, and the Director of Qatar Charity's office in Bangladesh Amin Hafez Omar.
