Al Wakra Municipality Public Affairs and Services Departments has launched a voluntary initiative to distribute sun protection umbrellas to the municipality workers at their field sites during the summer season. The initiative aims to safeguard them and ensure their safety from the risks of heatstroke and exhaustion caused by the scorching sunrays.
These umbrellas are designed with a suitable thickness and easy-to-install features, helping to shield the workers from the intense summer heat while doing tasks such as street and road cleaning, agricultural work, and tree pruning in public gardens, parks, walking paths, and public squares.
