Microsoft has already started making the artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot Bing Chat available in non-Microsoft browsers such as Google Chrome and Safari.Microsoft's bot was only available within its products, such as the Microsoft Bing mobile app and Microsoft Edge browser.Microsoft's Bing chatbot is based on Open AI's GPT-4 artificial intelligence model, the latest model behind the ChatGPT bot."We are flighting access to Bing Chat in Safari and Chrome to select users as part of our testing on other browsers," said Microsoft director of communications, Caitlin Roulston, in an emailed statement to TechCrunch. Some users have noticed limitations set by the company in the Bing Chat in Chrome and Safari supports only five messages per conversation instead of the 30 available in Microsoft Edge.In the same context, Microsoft is also testing adding night mode to the bot, which is also available to a limited number of users.Microsoft had recently launched the visual search feature in the bot and announced a paid commercial version for business owners.
