The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has opened a new customer services centre at Industrial Area in order to cater to the needs of companies and bulk customers.
Kahramaa president Eng. Essa bin Hilal al-Kuwari recently inaugurated the centre in the presence of directors and heads of departments, according to an official press statement.
“The opening of this branch is the direct response to the growing demand for electricity and water services from companies and bulk customers. This move also aligns with their overall strategy of enhancing customer service operations and providing the highest standards of quality and reliability. The newly-inaugurated centre is equipped with advanced smart and automated solutions, specifically tailored to meet the unique requirements and conditions of corporate services, particularly the huge service demands,” the statement said.
Moreover, Kahramaa said that the establishment of a dedicated branch for this segment would significantly enhance service efficiency and expedite the processing of specialised transactions while ensuring seamless business operations. Kahramaa remains committed to staying updated with the latest global advancements in the customer services sector while aiming to continuously improve its service delivery and effectiveness, the statement said.
Eng. al-Kuwari noted this development signifies a crucial milestone in elevating the quality of services provided to this specific customer segment. While highlighting Kahramaa’s unwavering commitment to its customer-centric strategies, he said the opening represents a new step towards "raising the level of our services for this category of customers".
“Kahramaa works according to the strategies set to put customers and their needs at the centre of planning operations. This new centre extends its services to encompass all development and investment companies’ applications while ensuring comprehensive support for their needs. Also, it caters to certified contractors who have multiple requests for review, enabling them to leverage the smart solutions and services offered by Kahramaa. This seamless integration with smart services empowers businesses to expedite and streamline the processing of their demands.
It features a modern reception hall equipped with advanced service desks and smart service screens. It also provides dedicated tools for support and training to Kahramaa staff.
In order to ensure a smooth process, contractors and authorised personnel are required to present identification cards. The branch is open from Sunday to Thursday from 7.30 am to 12:00 pm for receiving and processing applications.
