Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky affirmed his country's efforts to develop alternative routes to export grain to global markets, avoiding passage through the waters of the Black Sea.
Zelensky said, in his daily address to his people that they are doing their best to ensure that Ukrainian grain continues to be exported to the world as a guarantor of food security, referring to the urgent need for wheat to reach global markets.
He pointed out that he discussed the options presented regarding this file with the leaders of the army, the intelligence apparatus and the navy, in addition to government representatives, acknowledging the existence of encouraging signs in this direction, without mentioning them specifically.
A few weeks ago, Ukraine began exporting grain to Romania and from there to European countries, before Poland announced that it would allow Ukrainian exports of wheat to pass through its territory.
