The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure on Madinat Al Kaaban Street for 800m in both directions between its intersection with Al Shamal Service Road and the roundabout on Street No. 710 from August 20 until October 19. The closure in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to complete the final layer of asphalt works.
During the closure, road users heading to Madinat Al Kaaban Street will have to use the service road for Al Shamal Road, then turn right towards Waab Al Mashrab Street, then continue towards the junction with Street 710 then turn right to reach the roundabout on Madinat Al Kaaban. Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
