His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban witnessed Monday the signing ceremony of an agreement and several memoranda of understanding and cooperation between the governments of the two countries.
His Highness the Amir and the prime minister witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of environmental protection between the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in Qatar and the Ministry of Energy in Hungary, and a memorandum of understanding regarding cooperation in the field of diplomatic training between the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar and the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy. They also witnessed the signing of an agreement for cooperation in the fields of youth and sports between the governments of the two countries, in addition to a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the agricultural field between the Ministry of Municipality in Qatar and the Ministry of Agriculture in Hungary.
Members of the official delegation attended the signing ceremony.
On the Hungarian side, a number of ministers and senior officials attended the signing ceremony.
