Qatar Stock Exchange index rose 53.07 points, or 0.51%, at the beginning of Tuesday's trading, to reach the level of 10,512.85 points, compared to yesterday's closing.
The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise in six sectors: Banks and Financial Services by 0.67%; Transportation by 0.65%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.53%; Industrials and Real Estate by 0.19% each, and Telecoms by 0.08%. On the other hand, Insurance declined by 0.05%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1674 transactions worth QR 41,595,432.007, distributed to 22,041,358 shares. (QNA)
