As of now, there is no easy way to transfer eSIM between Android devices, which often leaves users rely on telecom providers.
The feature will prompt users to scan a QR code to start the transfer process.
Google is cooperating with local telecom companies in each country to support the new feature, which is expected to be available in conjunction with the Android 14 release.
Google has updated its "Google Contacts" app with new features that is bringing local time and weather conditions to user contact cards.
The Google Contacts app is also preparing a new redesign to its single-contact widget. The new design will be gradually introduced to Android users through updates that will be available through the Google Play Store. (QNA)
