A five–day Educators’ Conclave - Futuristic Teachers’ Meet 2023 was jointly hosted by MES Indian School and its branch campus MESIS recently.
The teachers’ capacity building programme, a first-of-its-kind with nine eminent resource persons from India, aimed at providing a platform for academicians to exchange their ideas, foster interactive research among the four groups of participants, and evolve realistic strategies for the existing educational challenges.
They are Thomas Oommen (curriculum development expert), Anu Thomas (director, All India In-Service Training Programme for PGTs in Chemistry and Computer Science, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan), Sudha M S (expert in school auditing, training and guidance of educators), Sreedevi Warrier (expert in question paper preparation and validation for senior secondary English), Amrithavalli R (trainer and expert in content development, lesson planning and essential aspect of learning outcomes), Hemamalini K (expert in early childhood care and education), K Ramamani (renowned academician and specialist in Mathematics), Savitri Thiagarajan (director, All India In-Service Training Programme for PGTs in Physics) and Manjula S Raj (member of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan - Retired Employees Education Academy, and resource person for Social Science in Teacher Training).
MES Indian School's officiating president Dr Najeeb K P, principal Dr Hameeda Kadar, MESIS principal Prameela Kannan addressed the valedictory function. Senior officials were present.
