Birla Public School celebrated Teachers' Day to thank and pay tribute to the dedicated educators who shape the future of the world. The programme started with an invocation song by the KG section teachers and a welcome address by vice principal Edna Fernandez.
Chairman Gope Shahani said: “Teachers are the unsung heroes of our society, the guiding lights who illuminate the path of knowledge and wisdom for their students.” He also thanked the teachers for their unwavering commitment and passion for the profession.
“Teachers are also leaders," said management representative Chindhu Rappai, and stressed the importance of being role models to the students in their lives. A cultural extravaganza organised by teachers was the highlight. A song and dance by Primary 1 teachers, skit by Primary 2 teachers, and performances by senior teachers completed the day. Acting principal Radhika Rele proposed a vote of thanks.
