MES Indian School conducted an exclusive orientation session for the parents of the current batch of Classes X and XII students, to update them about the recent changes announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the teaching methodology.
Principal Dr Hameeda Kadar emphasised the need for the parents to exercise patience, endurance and empathy and more importantly to extend moral support to the efforts of children as it would enable them to strike a balance between academic matters and their personal preferences. A 60-day strategic study programme, which will be devised by the subject teachers, was announced enabling students to prepare for the exam in a systematic manner.
Parents also met the class teachers and subject teachers. Rizwa Fathima, a faculty member in the Department of English welcomed the gathering and proposed a vote of thanks.
