The College of Law at Qatar University (QU) organised a welcome meeting for the 2025 and 2026 batch of master's and doctoral programme students.
Dr Faisal Misfer al-Hababi, assistant dean, Research and Graduate Studies, and Dr Mohsin al-Adba al-Marri, coordinator, Graduate Studies and Prof Abdelnaser Hayajneh, a professor at the College of Law, were present.
Dr al-Hababi highlighted the research opportunities provided by the College of Law for new students and emphasised the college's current standing, the quality of its programmes, the reputation of its graduates, and their contributions to society.
Dr al-Adba, presented the curriculum plans for the programmes and their graduation requirements. Prof Hayajneh, offered advice to new students on transitioning from one academic stage to another and the methods of learning therein.
The meeting also featured a presentation by Reem Shahdad, research and instruction librarian at QU's library, who provided an overview of the legal sources and references available at the library, such as the East Laws website, West Law, Dar Al-Ma'arifa, and other online resources, in addition to electronic and printed books.
