As the countdown to the International Horticultural Exhibition Doha 2023 begins, the concerned departments have completed the decoration of streets and tourist facilities across the city with flags and figures that express Qatar's readiness for this global event, which is being held for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa region. The expo will run from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024.Local Arabic daily Arrayah reported that the beautification of the main and major streets in preparation for the big event have been completed, including Hamad International Airport Road, the Corniche Street, Al Bidda Street, Onaiza Street, and many others surrounding the event site at Al Bidda Park. In addition, Darb Lusail has been adorned with logos and welcome phrases.The banners include several welcoming and promotional phrases for the exhibition, the most prominent of which are "The World Gathers Again in Doha," "Three Million Visitors from Around the World," "A World of Celebrations," and "179 Days of Fun."The official platforms of Expo 2023 on the social media have intensified the promotion with videos and images to engage the public about the exhibition, which includes numerous activities and events that will bring an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment to the country for over six months.Meanwhile, the Organising Committee has pointed out that the key facilities in the Family Zone include the Family Amphitheatre, Crafts and Environmental Market, Food Courtyard, Participation Zone, and Events Zone. It also pointed out that the Cultural Zone facilities include the Conference Centre, Exhibition Centre, Photography Exhibition, and Food Courtyard.The Family Amphitheatre at Expo 2023 Doha can accommodate 2,000 viewers and will host a variety of special events that will turn performances into exploration journeys combining education and entertainment. It is considered an excellent outdoor venue for a wide range of educational entertainment shows and activities suitable for children and families, making it the perfect destination for a nice day outdoors.
