As the weather has started to improve gradually and the winter camping season coming closer, intensive preparations are being done at the Sealine area to welcome campers and visitors.
The companies working there have intensified maintenance and preparation works for the different facilities, recreational areas, and beaches there. Besides, motorcycle rental shops have begun to make contracts with several specialised agencies in motorcycle sales to provide them with new varieties for campers and visitors at the beginning of the winter season. Additionally, the departments in charge for the beach buggy track have carried out comprehensive maintenance work to welcome the expected influx of visitors in the upcoming period.
Local Arabic daily Arrayah reported on the full preparations works going on at the Sealine over the recent period. Unesco classifies the Sealine and Khor Al Udaid Areas as natural reserves, as they are known for their stunning landscape, where the sand dunes embrace the sea in distinctive scenery. Sealine is also home to a large number of animals, birds, marine life, and aquatic organisms.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has prepared the Sealine Beach, providing all the necessary needs of the visitors including toilets, umbrellas, walking paths, seating and others. Further, the private sector companies working there have done all the necessary preparations to provide the needs of the visitors and make them as comfortable as possible.
In addition, the entities in charge of preparing the Sealine Shows Arena, located behind the cabins complex, have paved and leveled the road extending from the Sealine Street to the three gates of the showground. They have also carried out comprehensive cleaning of the ground and removed sand heaps that accumulated after the showground's activities ceased at the end of the previous season. Further, they have undertaken extensive maintenance work for the site's facilities.
Meanwhile, MoECC is getting ready to open the door for investors to apply for licenses to establish their businesses in the Sealine area throughout the camping season. The area designated for these businesses is located between the Ambulance Roundabout and the Chalets area, and includes a large number of various stores, including restaurants, cafes, groceries, camping equipment shops, and others. These are set to provide essential services to campers and visitors at affordable prices.
Also, the main camels' square facilities, including tents, seating areas, and relaxation spots, are undergoing maintenance. Lagers numbers of camels are set to be available during the upcoming season to meet the demand of visitors and tourists. In addition, some ponies will be there as they are preferred by children, besides a good number of falcons, where visitors can get photos with them.
