Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) in co-operation with Rayyan Pure Natural Mineral Water, organised an entertainment visit for children living with cancer and their families to KidZania Doha.
This initiative comes for the second year in a row within the framework of psychological and community support programmes for children living with cancer and their families, providing them with positive energy that helps them get through the treatment stage.
Rahaf Wasfi, health educator at QCS said that these initiatives achieve QCS's vision of becoming the community partnership platform for making Qatar a cancer prevention and burden control leader and its mission to prevent cancer and control its burden in Qatar by working with its partners to educate the community and to support, empower and advocate for individuals living with cancer.
These programmes aim to improve the quality of life for cancer patients during treatment and help them reactivate their societal role after treatment, she added.
QCS takes children living with cancer to KidZania Doha.
