Qatar’s delegation led by HE the Minister of Finance, Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, participated in the 120th meeting of the Financial and Economic Co-operation Committee of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The ministers reviewed several topics related to the results of the 81st meeting of the GCC Central Bank Governors Committee, 38th meeting of the GCC Common Market Committee, proposed governance for the follow-up and implementation of decisions, among other items on the agenda. During the meeting, the participants emphasised the importance of the GCC countries’ continuing to keep pace with the current financial and economic developments and challenges at the regional and international levels. This, they said, will support and enhance the joint economic action process in the GCC region. The meeting also confirmed the dates of the upcoming sessions of the Financial and Economic Co-operation Committee and the Committee of Undersecretaries of Finance for 2024.
