Chery showcases five models at 2023 GIMS

Chery Automobile showcased five of its flagship models during the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) Qatar 2023 Friday with two PHEV models set to be launched during the show period, which runs until October 14 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).

As one of the world’s top five auto shows, GIMS Qatar serves as a global stage for automotive brands to display cutting-edge technologies and launch their latest vehicle models. The two plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models to be launched at the show represent the latest culmination of Chery’s 18 years of hybrid technology.

While maintaining Chery’s safety and quality characteristics, these vehicles adopt a “primary electric, supplemented by gasoline” driving mode and feature a class-leading efficient powertrain combination, a unique and independently developed 3-gear DHT (Dual-Clutch Hybrid Transmission) in its class, and class-leading intelligent features.

In addition, Chery’s globally popular Tiggo family models, the Tiggo 8 Pro Max and the Tiggo 7 Pro Max, will also make their appearance at GIMS.
