Qatar Charity (QC) received in-kind donations from DHL Express, as part of the company's corporate social responsibility towards the community. The donations included a set of computers for QC’s ‘Tayf’ project.
Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, CEO’s assistant for the Resources Development and Media Sector at QC, thanked the company for its generous donations, which greatly contributes to serving various sections of the local community, especially those with limited income, and supporting QC’s humanitarian projects for the benefit of those in need globally.
Fakhroo indicated that QC is ready to receive contributions from various organisations and entities in the public and private sectors, aiming to support low-income people within the country and those in need worldwide.
Ahmed Elfangary, country manager of DHL Express Qatar, expressed his delight with collaborating with QC. He also noted the company's readiness to contribute to some of QC's projects in the future and participate in delivering urgent humanitarian aid in the event of natural disasters in certain countries.
QC allows individuals and organisations to donate clothes, toys, and household items to “Tayf”, in-kind donation project.
Tayf collects and distributes these donations based on the needs of the beneficiaries or sells them, allocating the proceeds to support humanitarian projects both within the country and abroad.
